Blossom bar june 17

Rachel De Thame picks her favourite part of the show. "One of the highlights of Tatton for me are the bedding displays. The RHS/ Ball Colegrave National Flowerbed Competition is great and the displays are done better here than anywhere else. It's done much bolder, brighter and better up north and the bedding schemes certainly show that." hare_200x200.jpg "The exhibitiors work very hard on their flowerbeds and often put a lot of humour and skill into them. I particularly like the bed that's like a ploughed field complete with its own hare. There are some great designs with really interesting stories behind them."

Every single strawberry is the result of lots of care and work. Fortunately I know to appreciate the work involved in strawberries. I was lucky enough to grow up in a small strawberry plantation my parents started to get some additional income in addition to all other farming products.
We all know from where strawberries come ... from the supermarket shelves. We also know who does all the work ... we hire cheap foreign labor willing to work for less than 5$ per hour because the work is too hard and too low paying for us ...
Wrong!
It is time to learn to do such jobs ourselves. No matter how little it pays.
Strawberry farming is a year long work of caring for your strawberry fields, for each plant and each fruit.
Many ways to grow strawberries - artificial, chemical / plastic methods and organic natural methods. The coming pictures will show you how to grow strawberry plants and berries.
