Blooming lotus ponds all over Cambodia - end of rainy season all Cambodia starts to bloom more and more.
In life be like a lotus - always look UP to God, whatever you do, always remain open for God and Love in all situations of life. That helps you to dissipate stress and release tension and inner turmoil.

Purple Flower
After a few nervous moments yesterday when I almost missed meeting up with the judges I can now reveal (with much excitement) that we won a gold medal for our display. I' m really pleased for everyone involved; all the hard work has finally paid off.
Of course now that the medal's been awarded there's no stopping me; I've already got a great idea for next year!

Beautiful purple water lilies and many other water flowers - and of course leeches ! This beautiful pond is surrounded by rice fields on all sides. An excellent example of bringing beauty amidst cultivated land - just for fun and for the beauty of nature.
While the rice actually looked rather small compared to the tallest rice plants I see these days in Cambodia - the rice plants here are exactly 1.80 meter high ... my height.
